The body carries the living record of every threshold it has crossed. Chronic pain, structural restriction, and exhaustion are rarely isolated physical ailments—they are simply the protective patterns the body holds when it has lacked space to soften.

My internal orientation to this work is informed by the ancient Yogic science of the Pancha Koshas—the understanding that our lived experience moves through five continuous layers:

  • Annamaya: The physical sheath of muscle, bone, and visceral tissue.

  • Pranamaya: The vital sheath of breath, heat, and circulating life-force.

  • Manomaya: The mental and emotional body holding sensory impressions.

  • Vijnanamaya: The seat of intuitive awareness and discernment.

  • Anandamaya: The innermost sanctuary of undisturbed stillness and ease.

On the mat, this listening translates through the direct, practical methods of traditional Northern Thai bodywork. Rather than working solely with isolated muscles, touch follows the pathways of the Sen lines—the body's vital energetic conduits. Through rhythmic palm and thumb compression, deliberate passive stretching, and visceral abdominal touch, dense restrictions along these pathways are softened so life-force (Lom) can move freely.

My relationship with these sciences began at my roots in Tamil Nadu, India, where I was raised and early initiated into the path of Kundalini Yoga. This foundation opened a lifelong devotion to vital energy and physical structure. To deepen this calling into hands-on lineage work, I trained in Mysore, India, and Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Alongside these Eastern traditions, my way of working has been shaped by years spent learning from the land alongside Indigenous communities in Canada. Living close to the elements taught me patience, quiet observation, and deep respect for the pace of living things.
